Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

A vast improvement over the Flint Township location! This particular location restored my faith in the Qdoba brand. Great service, clean restaurant, fresh ingredients. We had a huge portion of vegetarian nachos and they were delicious, loaded with fresh veggies, cheese, black beans, spicy queso, and guacamole. Try getting them to give you anything other than a tiny dollop of guacamole at the other location! When we mentioned how lousy the Flint Township franchise was, everyone working behind the counter groaned and chimed in with, "Yeah, we hear that all the time, they suck." And unlike the Flint Qdoba, they don't stint on the toppings! Service was both fast and friendly as well.

The best way to describe this location is frustrating. As far as fresh food you can't go wrong but the portions vary from visit to visit. I get really frustrated when ordering behind one of the food preparer's friends. They will pile it on for them and I'll get excited and think they are being generous that day and leave with a fraction of the meal prepared before mine. Anyway, it's pretty decent here just inconsistent.

I lov me some Qdoba so I have been to different locations all over different states. This is a good one. Every time I have been here everything is fresh and cooked correctly. I just wish they had more coupons for those of us who come here a lot.

I have been going to this Qdoba for seven or eight years now, and I have NEVER been let down. I'm partial to the Naked Steak Nachos (chips separated to all you out if town folk) and am never disappointed.

Good eats! Went here for the smothered burritos buy one get one Valentines Day special. We will return. Lots of toppings to choose from and freshly prepared.

I was hungry one late afternoon and didn't want to travel too far. Since I'm always down for a burrito and Husband and I were in the vicinity, we decided to stop here. He had been to a Qdoba before, and said that it was comparable to Chipotle. That's the key word: comparable, but not as good. Well, I didn't think it was that bad, but the rice was completely overcooked and instead of being soft and flaky and being separate grains, it was all mushed together because the guy who was preparing it poured WAY TOO MUCH broth. I saw it myself, and I looked over to Husband and mentioned it to him, and he said he saw it too. We were hoping that it wasn't going to be in our burritos. Boy, were we wrong! The actual meat (grilled chicken in this case) was cooked pretty well, though too salty. The salsa wasn't bad, but it was a little flat. I liked the fact that there were bits of fresh cilantro in it and it was fragrant, but that was about it that made it special. The beans were so-so. Too soft and lacked any special flavor. The ladies that were preparing our food were messy and not very efficient, unlike the people at Chipotle. The counters were not well kept and they didn't seem to care about the quality and presentation of the food. Overall, I am not going back because for the price you pay, you're way better off going to Chipotle for their fresh, quality ingredients, the staff is fast, friendly, and efficient, and their rice is never mush. Oh and the food is always well-balanced, not salty.

I have been to this branch twice in less than a week. being a chipotle fan, I was reluctant to go to Qdoba after reading the other review. I eventually caved in to my burrito craving and gave it a try. we have so far tried grilled chicken, shredded beef, queso steak and grilled veggie burrito and they were all good. I think my husband made a comment about the meat being salty, chicken was good to me. everything was fresh, great guacamole, clean counter. i can easily say it's as good as chipotle if not better and more diverse. the burrito was smaller over all though, yet i'd rather not suffocate eating or throw food away so that's fine by me! highly recommend the grilled veggie burrito, they were grilled to perfection, done yet crunchy and had a great smokey flavor.
